MUNFORD - William Whitehorn, 71, of Millington, retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service, died Thursday afternoon at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Munford Funeral Home with burial in Bethuel Cemetery near Millington. A member of the Faith Assembly of God Church near Millington, the Richland Masonic Lodge and Millington York Rite Bodies, he was a 21-year Navy veteran and served in World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Whitehorn, husband of Mau reen Haley Whitehorn, also leaves two daughters, Patricia Marlene Polley of Germantown and Rhonda Kaye Fink of Burlison; two sons, Daniel Leroy Mathis of Germantown and William Patrick Whitehorn of Atoka; two sisters, Marlene Weddington of Forrest City, Ark., and Virginia Mae Barnes of Rochelle, Ill., and eight grandchildren.
