Boyer, Eileen F. age 83, of Deephaven, died peacefully at her home on Dec. 6, 2007. Charter member of St. Therese Catholic Church, involved in the CCW (Council of Catholic Women), a Eucharistic Minister, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, active in the Prayer Chain, served many with Meals-on-Wheels, and for over 30 years helped provide prayers and communion to the Excelsior Nursing Home. Partnered with her husband in the construction business for over 40 years. Devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was committed to her friends and welcomed everyone into her home. Preceded in death by parents, Peter and Rose Goeden; and sister, Bernice Larson. Survived by her husband of 62 years, Joe Boyer; children, Peter (Corlea), Joleen (Rob) Roy, Bob (Nancy), John (Joanne), Joseph (Monica) and Paul Boyer; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, MaryAnn Hartman of Bertha, MN, Marcella Sharpe of Homedale, NJ, Ione (John) Malone of Wadena, Lorraine (Ed) Richter of Wadena; sister-in-law, Marian Kern of Wadena; nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM, St. Therese Catholic Church, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd., Deephaven (952-473-4422). Visitation Monday 5-8 PM at St. Therese Catholic Church, with Rosary at 7:30 PM. Visitation also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Shorewood.
