Rites Held for Belton Anglin

Services were held at four o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Chapel of the Barry Funeral Home for Belton Cleon Anglin who died Friday night at the St. Joseph Hospital, Memphis, following a six weeks illness. The rites were conducted by the Rev. J R Grisham. Burial was in the I O O F Cemetery.

The pallbearers were George Bean, J D King, Pal Porter, Hal Jolly, Everett Fitzgerald and J H Dawson.

With Mrs. Fred McGehee as organist, Mrs. Porter Davis, Mrs. Robert Brewster, Mrs. J L Colbert and Dr. J C Luper sang Rock of Ages and Have Thine Own Way Lord.

Mr. Anglin, 67, was a son of the late G W Anglin and the late Mrs. Kate Ann Boone Anglin. He was reared in Okolona but left here in 1905 and for the past 33 years had been engaged in farming at Newbrook, Alberta, Canada. Learning of his only brother's illness went to Canada and brought him to Memphis. He was a cousin of Misses Eliza, Lou Ella and Birdie Boone.

Those who came from Memphis for the rites were Mr. and Mrs. Hal G Anglin, Mr. and Mrs. George Anglin and Miss Lutie Marshall.
Parents were George Washington Anglin and Kate Anna Boone.
