Funeral services for Floyd Dean Andrews, 36, West Plains, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Andrews died 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Mo. He was born Dec. 3, 1971, in West Plains, Mo., to Gary and Kathy Sinclair Andrews.
Mr. Andrews was a veteran having served on the U.S.S. Yellowstone during the Gulf War with the United States Navy. He also had served with the U.S. Navy Reserve and the Army National Guard. He had been employed for 15 years with Bruce Hardwood and currently was employed as a machinist for Tri-Lakes Tools. Mr. Andrews enjoyed his motorcycle and loved his boys.
He is survived by his sons, Trevan Dean Andrews and his mother, Lesa Eberle, and Floyd Dalton Andrews and his mother, Anita French, West Plains; his parents, Gary and Kathy Andrews, West Plains; one sister, Alicia Gunter, husband, Wesley, West Plains; grandmother, Ruth Andrews; niece, Jayna Gunter; nephew, Kyler Gunter; special friend, Kevin Kintner; his former wife, Susanne Andrews; and many aunts,uncles and cousins.
His grandparents, Omrie and Alice Sinclair and Leamon Andrews; one uncle, Floyd Andrews; and one cousin, Larry Wayne Andrews, precede him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Elk Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Andrews Boys Scholarship Fund and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
