Anthony Aguirre, 21, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at his home in Nixon, Texas.
He was born in Seguin to Raul Aguirre Sr. and Apolonia Vigil Aguirre on Sept. 17, 1985. Anthony was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Raul Aguirre Jr., in 1995.
Anthony is survived by his parents, Apolonia and Raul Aguirre Sr.; a son, Anthony Alexander Aguirre; his sister, Vanessa Aguirre and husband Leonardo Colorado; his girlfriend, Jennifer Villanueva; and a nephew, Raul Leonardo Colorado, all of Nixon; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Viewing and visitation were held in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon on Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 4-8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6 p.m.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Alfonso Gioppato officiating. Burial followed in the Nixon Latin American Cemetery.
