Dr. Traver and brother I. B. Traver reinvested their money in various ventures in town. They owned many properties. In November 1907, the Perry County court issued an order concerning the properties and listing all of the many heirs.
"*Death of Dr. Traver, at the age of 60 years, 9 months, 11 days, passed peacefully to his reward last Saturday morning at 10:45 at his Marysville home. For some months passed he has been troubled with serious affections of the bowels and informed a friend some days before his death, that this attack would prove fatal. He was conscious until the minute before his dissolution. He came from York County, to Marysville about 18 years ago and has been eminently successful in his pursuits and leaves a fortune to his heirs.
His remains were interred in Chestnut Grove Cemetery last Wednesday and was followed by an immense concourse of friends. NOTE; (Dr. Traver lived at what is now 106 S. Main St.) He owned many properties in town and a farm is recorded as well."
