She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Saunders and Lucille Hedges Stoops, and a brother, Michael Stooops.
She is survived by daughters Kelley Sanford, of Hebron, and Kim Griffith, of Simpsonville; a son, Todd Armstrong, of Shelbyville; brothers Donald Stoops, Jimmy Stoops and Gary Stoops, all of Shelbyville; sisters Darlene Rutledge, of Taylorsville, and Barbara McGill, of Shelbyville; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral was 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery.
