Henry "Crick" Clayton Eaton, 71, of 1529 Cannon Bottom Road, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at his home.

Born in Pendergrass, Ga., he was a son of the late John Robert and Montine Gee Eaton. He was a retired painter and attended Williamston Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Dickson Eaton of the home; sons, Clay, Carl and Jack Eaton, all of Belton; daughter, Cathy Fisher of the home; sisters, Mrs. Bill (Ailene) Ellison of Belton and Mrs. Claude (Betty) Parker and Mrs. Raymond (Helen) Lollis, both of Pelzer; brothers, Charles and Joe Eaton, both of Pelzer, and Steele Eaton of Piedmont; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer, by the Rev. Jonathan Hodges. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
