Mr. Addison Somers Brinson, Sr (84) went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 7th, 2015. Preceding him in death were both parents, Addison was the Son of the late Isaac and Edna Brinson Jarman, the mother of his beloved children, Alice Faye Adams Brinson and also his only daughter, Pamela Faith Brinson Cliver. Also, 3 brothers: Cecil Brinson, Edsel Brinson, Jacky Brinson, 1 sister: Billie Jean Crumpler. Addison leaves behind a wife, Phyllis Joan Faires, 3 sisters: Loretta Foss (Royce) of Maine, Bobbie Thompson of Illinois, Peggy Balkcum of Wilmington, NC, and his only son, Addison Somers Brinson, Jr also of Wilmington, NC. His Grandchildren- Matthew Brinson Cliver, Addison Drew Brinson and Ryan Calvin Brinson all of Wilmington, NC. Addison was a member of Sunset Park Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC for 50 + years. Visitation will be at Sunset Park Baptist Church Saturday, November 14th from 10:00 am-11:00 and a memorial service immediately following in the sanctuary.
