Mrs. G. B. Scott
Mrs. G. B. (Lillian Wilby) Scott, 70, died Wednesday morning in a nursing home in Seguin, Tex. She was born in Selma, Ala., Sept. 15, 1902, and was a Laurel resident prior to moving to Seguin 20 years ago. She was the widow of Captain G. B. Scott (Retired U.S. Army), a lifelong member of the Episcopal church and served as church treasurer for a number of years in Seguin.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Hartman of Fort Worth, Tex.; and two brothers, William A. Wilby of Laurel; and Hugh M. Wilby of Ft. Myers, Fla. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. E.J. (Sue Wilby) McCarty of Laurel.
Graveside services will be held Friday at Fort Sam Huston San Antonio, Tex. Guetz Funeral Home, Seguin, Tex. is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
