One of the founding settlers of Hector, New York. Served as Private, Corporal and Seregant in the Am. Revolutionary War under Capt DuBois and Capt. Jacob Hager(his brother). 15th Regiment/2nd Company of the New York Milita. Was wounded on 10 Nov.1780 in the right shoulder, while in pursuit of Adam Crysler and Chief Joseph Brant. His father was Henry Hager who was born 1702 in Germany.
