My maternal great-grandmother. Martha Jane was the daughter of Thomas and Amanda (Canfield) Gettys, the widow of Henry Troyer and the widow of Russell M. Scott. Martha was married to Henry Troyer on Oct. 22, 1873 in Putnam Co. Ohio (Henry died about 1880). She was married to Russell M. Scott in Putnam Co. Ohio on Aug. 28, 1883. She spent her last years living with a son-in-law and daughter, Shan and Annie Mauk.
