He is survived by his parents, Wayne Jr. and Jan of Albany; paternal grandparents, Wayne Sr. and Elanor Alberston of Albany; and a maternal grandmother, Beatrice Leffingwell of Verona. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Leffingwell in 1970; paternal great grandparents, Otis and Jessie Alberston and Bill, and Evelyn Hartwig. Duane was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Dayton, Wisconsin, the Albany Lions Club. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 25, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Albany. Father Ken Klink of St. James Catholic Church in Dayton will officiate. Burial will be in the Norwegian Cemetery in Albany Township. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 1996 at the Bifulk Funeral Home in Albany. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
