Winifred A. Lettie, 83

Winifred A. Lettie of Porter, Pa., died Saturday, September 13, 1975 in the Adrian Hospital. She was 83 years of age.

Mrs. Lettie, who had lived in Porter since 1922, was born on September 27, 1891, in Armstrong County the daughter of Elias and Leanna Allen Weaver. She was married on October 22, 1912 to Earl Lettie who preceded her in death on May 10, 1965. She was a member of the Glade Run Presbyterian Church of Dayton and the Porter Ladies' Aid.

Surviving relatives include three sons: Duane of Wheerlerville, Pa.;Bill of Yatesboro and Jack of Punxsutawney; three daughters: Mrs. Earl (Katherine) Bish, R.D. 4 Punxsutawney, Mrs. Daryl (Leanna) Matthews, R.D. 2, Dayton, Mrs. Clyde (Mary Ellen) Dinger, R.D. 4, Punxsutawney and one sister Mrs. Regina Mohney, North Royalton, Ohio. Thirteen grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandson also survive.

Friends will be received in the Schenkemeyer Funeral Home from 2 to 4 this afternoon and 7 to 9 this evening and 7 to 9 on Monday, and until time or the funeral service on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Francis Earle Stetler will officiate and burial will be in the Zion Cemetery at Porter.
