BOKOSHE — Muril "Wayne" Tackett, 64, of Bokoshe died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, in a Little Rock hospital. He was retired from Arkla Gas and a rancher.
Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Assembly of God of Bokoshe with burial at Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; three daughters, Vicki Hettinger, Shirley Swindle and Carolyn Rees, all of Bokoshe; his parents, Roy and Matha Tackett; 11 grandchildren, Tabitha, Jessie and Nick Swindle, Jonathan Watson, Stephanie Hettinger, Christy and Chris Richmond, Ashley and R.C. Rees, all of Bokoshe and Lisa and Tony Sizemore of Pocola; and one great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be R.C. Culwell, Joe Henderson, Ed Abernathy, Mike Bell, Donald Horton and Larry Culwell.
