Sister Mary Edwina CSC, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, died this morning in the motherhouse of the Congregation. She had been ill for a number of years and had been in critical condition for several weeks. Born in Chicapee, Mass. in 1876, and entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1907, receiving the habit that same year, and making her profession of vows in 1912. During her community life she was stationed on missions in Austin. Tex.; San Francisco; Columbus, Ohio; and at St. Mary's. A sister survives.
Requiem high mass will be sung at 6 a.m. Thursday, with burial in the community cemetery. The body will be in the novitiate parlor at St. Mary's.
