Donald Joseph Templet
A retired training supervisor with Exxon, he passed away at his home in Gonzales on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008. He was 68 and a native of White Castle. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Monday, Oct. 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Visiting at Ascension Baptist Church, Gonzales on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Burial in Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Gerry H. Templet; mother, Mabel Daigle Templet; daughter, Wendy Robinson and husband Ronnie; son, Brent Templet and wife Shelia; five brothers, Harvey, Clement Jr., Feltus, Terry and Russell Templet; and six grandchildren, Joshua, Hannah, Abigail and Moriah Robinson, and Jared and Jaci Templet. Preceded in death by his father, Clement Templet Sr.; and sister, Marilyn Militello. He was a graduate of Gonzales High School. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice or a charity of choice. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Hospice, especially Christine, Mindy, Robin, Cynthia, Emma, Sylvia and Don for their care and support.
