Martha Heap Hanson, age 90 died, Monday 2:15 pm in a Salt Lake hospital of causes incident to age. She was born November 22, 1870, Zions Canyon, Washington County, Utah to William Henry Harrison Heap and Sarah Ann Marsh Heap. She pioneered Star Valley Wyoming with her parents in 1879. She married Gustav Emil Hanson, July 1, 1889 in Montpelier, Idaho. The marriage later was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Survivors: sons and daughters, Lorin, Pocatello, ID.; Oril, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ida Moser Ringel, Logan; Mrs. Selma Hepworth, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Laura Stock, Afton, Wy.; 24 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren and 29 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Freedom Ward Chapel on Thursday, August 3, 1961. Pallbearers were her gandsons. Prayer in the home was by Clifford Burton. Prelude and postlude music: Laura Draney; Invocation: Seth Moser;
