Eddie died of Cancer. They were the best neighbors and friends we ever had. Vonceal was always there for me.His funeral was on Monday, November 30,1998 Cary Hand Colonial Funeral Home, Elder John M. Bowen officiating. He was survived by his wife and children, brothers James & Ralph and a sister Carrie Lane.

EDWIN E. SEARS, 64, Mediterranean Drive, Orlando, died Thursday, Nov. 26. Mr. Sears worked in energy management for Orange County Public Schools. Born in Indianapolis, he moved to Central Florida in 1958. He was Baptist. He was a member of American Legion Post 286 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2345. Mr. Sears was a Korean War Marine Corps veteran. Survivors: wife, Vonceal; sons, Dennis R. Rayborn, Edwin E. Jr., both of Houston, Marshall A. Rayborn, Brantley, Ala.; daughters, Vonna L., Orlando, Wanda M. Holland, Houston; brother, James P., Orlando, Ralph E., Indianapolis; sister, Carrie L. Lane, Jacksonville; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, Orlando.
