Boyce Lee Blackwood, 65, of Clifton died at Mary Black Hospital Sunday night after a brief illness. Mr. Blackwood was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Pearl Blackwood, one daughter, Mrs. Eunice Trail, of the home, two sons, Boyce Lee Blackwood, Jr. of Louisiana and William H. Blackwood of the home and Louisiana; his father, D.L. Blackwood of Cowpens Rt. 1; one brother, Willie O. Blackwood of Clifton; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Willingham of LaGrange, GA, Mrs. Tessie Hughes of Arkwright and Mrs. Fannie Gardner of Cowpens Rt. 1. Funeral services will be conducted today at 4:30 p.m. at St. Andrews Methodist Church by the Revs. Carl N. Harris, Paul McWhirter and J.T. Baker. Burial will be in Sunsett Memorial Park. The M.W. Bobo Funeral Chapel is in charge. Pallbearers are Raymond Alley, Walton Murr, Paul Groce, Chalmer Wooten, Jim Dawson and Joe Barber.
