Mrs. Abeyta was born on June 13, 1936 in DeLeon, Texas, daughter of Charles Lawless and Opal Eitel Lawless.
She was an X-Ray Technician with the VA Medical Center.
She was predeceased by a son, Mike Abeyta. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pierpont Baptist Church, 2508 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29414.
