Husband of Laura (nee Richardson) Dr. Morrison graduated from (then) Newark College (now U. of De.) and Jefferson Medical College. He was a Major in the Union Medical Corps during the Civil War, serving at Point Lookout Prison, and Harewood Hospital Washington, D.C. He practiced medicine in the North East/Charlestown area of Cecil Co. for many years. He then moved to Wilmington, De. where he operated a drug store business.
