Mrs. Sarah M. Wieland, 78, of 1519 Hull Ave., a lifelong Des Moines resident, died of a heart attack Saturday at Mercy Hospital.
Mrs. Wieland was a member of Visitation Catholic Church and its Rosary Society, the Star Club, Fifty Year Club and Mercy Hospital Guild.
Surviving are her husband Alosis; two sone, A.J. Rancho Cordova, Cal., and F.D. Des Moines, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Visitation Church, with burial at St. Ambrose Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday in Conley's Capital Hill Funeral Home, 1204 E.Grand Ave.
