Holland, James E. Age 85, a 50+ year resident of St. Louis Park, died on June 19, 2008. Born in Warroad, MN, Jim was a proud "Warroad Warrior" hockey fan. He attended Macalaster College & the University of Minnesota. Jim was a decorated WWII Army Air Corps veteran (B-17 crew), and for over 35 years, he was an award-winning salesman for McKesson Co. Jim was an active member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church for over 50 years, a past PTA President, Boy Scout leader, Knollwood Mall walker, and hospice volunteer. Preceded in death by parents, Edward & Henrietta Holland of Warroad. Survived by wife of 60+ years, Jacqueline "Sally"; children, Edward (Mary), Judy (Frank) Holland-Feltl, and David (Kim); grandchildren, Chad (Kim) Nelson, Jesse Nelson, and Jamie Nelson; sisters, Dorothy (Wilbur) Boler, Jeanne Erickson, and Patricia (Larry) Stotts; and many nieces, nephews and devoted friends. Special thanks to the Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital staff, especially the EC, 4W, 4E, IP Hospice, Spiritual Care, Janet Grayson, MD, Jill Samayoa, GNP, Aldersgate Church, and the Augustana - Chapel View TCU. Memorial Service 11 AM, Saturday, July 12 at Aldersgate United Methodist, 3801 Wooddale Ave. So., St. Louis Park, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment July 14 at Ft. Snelling. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Aldersgate Church (Parish Nurse), Pheasants Forever, Park Nicollet Foundation (Spiritual Care Fund), or donor's choice.
