Private family services will be held for Albert P. Rice, 83, and Janie E. Rice, 84, of Frankfort. They passed away on October 13, 2008. Born December 19, 1924 and October 17, 1923, respectively.
They were married on February 2, 1946, and were married for 62 years. Janie was a registered nurses aid at St. Elizabeth Hospital, a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and making candy. Albert worked at the Brown Rubber Company for 15 years and was a lifelong farmer.
Their family includes; 3 Daughters, Judy L. Rice Pettigrew of Frankfort, Darla K. (Jim) Reed of Frankfort and Carla M. (Ed) Mandel of Tampa, FL, 5 Grandchildren, Janie Rothenberger, Curtis Albert McKinzie, William P. Carmack, Rachel E. VanDyke and Jason D. Kuhns, several Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. Albert is survived by one sister, Lois Homberg of Logansport, IN.
Burial will be in Camden Cemetery.
