GREENSBORO — Mr. Ralph Glenn Needham, 93, departed from his earthly home on Monday, October 13, 2008, he now resides with his Lord and Savior.

Funeral Services will be held at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Tim Stafford and Howard Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens.

Ralph was born November 12, 1914, to the late Andrew and Rilla Needham. He operated Guilford Telephone Company until it was purchased by Southern Bell, from which he retired.

He was a generous, kind and compassionate devoted Christian, one who truly lived his life for the Lord and his family. He was an active member of Trinity Chapel Church. His hobbies included gardening, playing his guitar, singing and family gatherings. He has lived a full and blessed life.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Lillie Needham; daughter: Joyce Ellison and husband Don of Greensboro; sons: Glenn Needham and wife Barbara of Wallburg, Royce (Tence) Needham of Colfax; grandsons: Donnie Ellison and Dustin Needham, and numerous nephews and nieces.
