This is my mother. She passed away at 59 years old from a rare form of cancer. I miss her dearly. She was born in Hasting Nebraska, and the family moved to Oregon in the early 1950's. She graduated at Willamette High School in 1962 in Eugene Oregon. She was very active in her religious beliefs, and taking care of family. She had three children she left behind, that think of her everyday.
She was a FANTASTIC cook, she could make a soup bone taste like steak if she had to. One of my fondest memories is coming home and smelling Moms homemade bread. Ummm, Ummmm.
This may sound strange to some, but she kind of sang me a good night song everynight, the song..{only she knew} the sound of the vacuum cleaner everynite at 9:05, It made me fall asleep instantly. One of those things only a mom knew.
