He is survived by his son, George L. Ellington of Newark, Ohio, his daughters Mrs. Elizabeth Kendall and Mrs. Kenneth Sargent, both of New Castle, Ind. Mrs. Ellington preceded him to the Spirit World by about eleven years. Three brothers, Lee, George and Charles Ellington all of Waverly, Ohio:two sisters, Miss Alice Ellington of Waverly and Miss Belle Ellington of Portsmouth, Ohio and four grandchildren also survive.
So when life's sweet journey ends, soul and body part like friends--No quarrels, no murmurs, no delay:a kiss, a sigh and so away.
The funeral service was held at the Ellington home on South Market St., Thursday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. H. H. Wilbur of the Methodist chruch. Burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of McMillan & Gregg.
