Died, at 6 o'clock Thursday morning, June 16, 1910, at his residence nine miles west of the city in Gardner township, Eden H. Ahlrichs, aged 58 years, 4 months and 1 day. The funeral will be held at the residence. The interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.
The decedent was born February 16, 1852, in Abbickenhape, Ostfrishland, Germany, and came to Menard county when 15 years old. With his parents he went first to Menard county. On April 1874 he married Miss Anna Kathrina Raman, and since then has lived in this vicinity.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Emma, four sons, Ben, Edward, William and Thomas, residing at home, and one brother, John, of Rochester. IL State Journal, Springfield, IL 6-17-1910
