BETTY W. FARST, 74, of 20 Wallace Drive, died Saturday afternoon at Mansfield General Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Farst was born May 18, 1916 in Lucas and lived all of her life in the Lucas area. She was a member of the Lucas Congregational Church and the Grace Bible Church.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Farst; one daughter, Joetta VanMeter of Lucas; three sons, Robert S. Zody of Mansfield, Randall L. Farst of Lucas and W. Scott Farst of Mansfield; one sister, Thelma Zollig of Palm Springs, California; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death my her parents, Frank and Daisy A. Snider Fulton and one sister, Hazel Thorpe.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 28, in the Diamond Street Home of the Wappner Funeral Directors by the Rev. Tim Collins of the Grace Bible Church. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
