Albert "Cowboy" was born to Benjamin P. and Matilda M. Powell Kircher.

Surviving are two daughters, Sherry (Robert) Grove and Rayann (Randy) Hardin; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Allen Kircher, on Oct. 10, 1976; and one brother.

A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 979 in Bartonville.

He worked as an operating engineer for C.A. Powley, Cullinan Construction and Peoria Blacktop. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 649.

He served as Hollis Township road commissioner for 23 years.
