VIRGINIA M. MUSSELMAN, 89, died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at the V.A. Hospital, Washington, DC. Ms. Musselman enlisted in the Woman's Army Auxiliary Corps during WWII and retired as a Sergeant First Class after serving more than 29 years in the WAAC, WAC and U.S. Army in 1972. Ms. Musselman was awarded the Meritourious Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (Seventh award), American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Armed Forces Retirement Medal. She had been active in the American Legion and the Ladies Shriners. She is survived by two nephews, Jerry and Andy Render. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. Arrangements by EVERLY-WHEATLEY.
