Funeral services for Monroe Kyle Green, 64, of Route 6, Athens were held at 2 pm at Spry Funeral Home chapel. Van Bowers and Woodrow Franklin officiated, and Spry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Green, who died Sat. at Athens Limestone Hospital was buried in Sandlin Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Hardaway Green of Athens; two daughters, Barbara White and Sandra Griffin of Athens; three sons, William D. Green of North Pole, Alaska, Harold Green and Danny Green of Athens; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Green was a member of Cairo Methodist church.
Pallbearers were: Vernon Green, Marshall Green, James Looney, Armon Looney, Tommy Davis and Gerald Adams.
