Raymond William Weeks, 54, died Sunday, October 18, 1964, at Putnam Memorial Hospital, Bennington, VT. He was born in Manchester, VT on April 2, 1910 to Fred Smith Weeks and Bertha Irene Kent.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen (Fleming) Weeks, two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Flower and Mrs. Beverly King; five sons, Raymond Jr, Michael, Richard, William and James Weeks, all of Manchester Depot; a brother, Edward "Bill" Weeks of Manchester Depot; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Harmon of Shaftsbury, Mrs. Dorothy Ackert and Mrs. Catherine Cawley of Danby; twelve granchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Robert Weeks and grandparents, Hiram and Emeline Kent.
Friends may call at the Brewster Funeral Home, Manchester Center, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Father Kelly will recite the rosary at 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted in St. Paul's Church in Manchester, Tuesday, October 20 at 9 a.m. by the Rev. Donald C. Kelly, Pastor.
Burial will follow at Factory Point Cemetery, Manchester, Vermont. Source: Kent Family Bible.
