Graveside services for David Conrad Babcock, 53, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fort Richardson National Cemetery with the Rev. Ernie Muellerleile of Holy Cross Catholic Church officiating.
Mr. Babcock died Sunday, March 6, at Providence Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born June 8, 1934, in Los Angeles, and served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He liked to scuba dive.
He leaves his daughters, Lori, of Westminister, Calif., Karen, of Riverside, Calif., and Kriste, of Whittier, Calif.; his sons, David, of Huntington Beach, Calif., Michael, of Riverside, Calif., and Jonathan, of Fort Rucker, Ala.; his brothers, George, of Provo, Utah, Michael, of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Allan, of Big Bear, Calif.; and eight grandchildren; and his companion, Doris Vans, of Anchorage.
Service arrangements were by Witzleben Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Bragaw Chapel
