Doug 41 of LaCrosse,KS. Died Tuesday,July 4th,2000 at Via Christi-St.Francis Hospital, Witchita. Born in Washington, D.C. s/o of Ray & Velma (Herrman) Carver. He was a meat cutter for Pat"s Beef Jerky. A Rush County resident for the most of his life, he was a member of St.Joseph's Catholic Church,Liebenthal. He was a rock carver, an artist and enjoyed camping. Survivors include, his parents, one daughter, Andrea Carver, Hays; three brothers, Rick Carver , Superior, Colorado; Scot Carver Colby & Pat Carver, Hays, two sisters, Sis Starkey, LaCrosse, Paula Hayes, Liebenthal; a special friend, Diane McFarren, LaCrosse and her children Jason Swowalter & Amanda Showalter and her granddaughter Rianne Showalter, LaCrosse. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Jane Carver, his grandparents, Reinhold & Emma Herrman, and Frank & Dortha Hutain. With Father Benjamin Martin presiding. Doug was cremated and lays to rest with his daughter Audrey Jane Carver. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Liebenthal,Kansas.
