Miles Foster Wilkins, 85, a native of Columbus County died Friday at Bowden Nursing Home following a long illness. He was born in Columbus County, the son of the late Joseph B and Elizabeth E Wilkins. Final rites were held Sunday at 3 pm at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church at Freeman. Survivors include two sons, Miles Louis and Clarence T. Wilkins, both of Florence, SC, a brother, Henry Wilkins, Wilmington; six grandchildren and a great grandchild.
