WILLEBY, Ruby Earline Age 82, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 in the company of her loving family in Nashville after a courageous bout with cancer. She was a member of Family Worship Center Assembly of God and had a great love for God, her church, the Bible and her family. Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Willeby; son, David Eugene Willeby and 2 grandchildren. Survivors include her 8 children, Brenda White, Wayne (Linda) Willeby, Donnie (Linda) Willeby, Wanda (Wilkes) Hester, Jerry (Delores) Willeby, Bobby (Denise) Willeby, Bonnie (Terry) Mills and Carolyn (Steve) Brown; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Monday, June 16, 2008 at 10 a.m., at Ellis Funeral Home, with Rev. Noble Gammon, Rev. Jerry Willeby and Rev. Bobby Willeby officiating. Burial to follow in Harpeth Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 2-7 p.m., at ELLIS FUNERAL HOME, 2627 Nolensville Pike, 615-255-5412.
