Glen W. Frye, 85, of Louisville, died at 1:38 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at Burgin Manor in Olney.

There was no visitation. Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. today at Red Brush Cemetery in Louisville. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Frye was born on September 19, 1918, in Clay County, the son of John R. and Rose (Read) Frye. He married Laura Barbee on December 28, 1941. She preceded him in death.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Red Brush Christian Church. He was a township supervisor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter, an infant son, and two sisters, Dora Gharst and Vera Qolclasure.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
