Moberly of Uniontown, Kans., Caleb Moberly of Calumet, Okla., and Mrs. M. Sue Wilkerson, New Castle, Col. Mother Moberly united with the Old School Baptist church at mount Carmel, Clark county, Ky., almost 60 years ago under the preaching of Rev. Thomas P. Dudley, who was pastor of that church for over 40 years. Bro. Dudley performed the marriage ceremony when Mr. and Mrs. Moberly were married and he baptized her a few years later .... She fell asleep in Jesus, Sept. 25, 1910, at her daughter's, Mrs. Sallie Nuzman's, at Soldier, Kans., with whom she had made her home for about 4-1/2 years. She was laid to rest by the side of her husband who preceded her nearly 34 years ago to await the Resurrection mom in Olive Hill cemetery Jackson county, Kans. The Holton Recorder, October 6, 1910.
.... In 1873 the deceased with her husband and family moved from Kentucky to Missouri, and later,
1in 1878, they came to Kansas and settled on the old Moberley homestead near Olive Hill. Here in 1886 her life companion was called from her side. She remained on the old homestead until about four years go, when failing health compelled her to live with her daughter, Mrs. Nuzman.
