Death of Simon Ash
Simon Ash, brother of Police Sergeant R. W. Ash, is dead. He passed away yesterday at his home, 806 Q street, in the 71st year of his age. He was a native of Baden, Germany. He came to Sacramento in the early period of the city's history and made and kept a host of friends. He leaves a wife, Johann, a son, A.L. Ash, and three daughters, Mrs. J. C. Scroggs, Mrs. George Hoffmeister of Oakland and Mrs. Ira Conran and his brother, R. W. Ash.
