DEFOREST - Gloria M. Henze, age 70, of DeForest, died on Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at Meriter Park Hospital in Madison. Gloria was born on Sept. 8, 1932, in the township of Dekorra, the daughter of Bert and Evelyn (Millard) Curtis.
She was married to Robert Henze at the home of her grandparents in the township of Dekorra on Sept. 2, 1949. Gloria worked as a food service supervisor for the DeForest Area School System for more than 32 years. She was a member of Spring Prairie Lutheran Church and the W.E.L.C.A.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, DeForest; her children, Robert (Kim) Henze, Arlington, and Jean McGrath, Portage; her grandchildren, Jim, Jeff, and Jody Henze and Ryan and Hannah McGrath; three brothers, Roger (Pat) Curtis, Poynette, Robert (Sharon) Curtis, Portage, and Ronald (Gloria) Curtis; other close relatives; and many friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Harlan Curtis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2003, at SPRING PRAIRIE LUTHERAN CHURCH in Keyeser, located in Columbia County, with the Rev. O. Rolf Olson officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Prairie Lutheran Cemetery.
