Delbert Ward, Mrs. Grady, Mrs. Miller Pass Away During Week
ISABEL CHAPMAN MILLER
Isabel CHAPMAN MILLER was born in England, December 3, 1842, coming to the United States with her parents at the age of four. They settled in Wisconsin in 1846. She was united in marriage to Alexander MILLER, March 1, 1860. She and her husband came west to Portland, Oregon, where they resided for one year, then moving to Goldendale, where she has resided since.
Nine children were born to this union, five of whom are living, Frank of Goldendale; Roscoe, of Spirit Lake, Idaho; Mrs. Rosetta Allyn, of Goldendale; Mrs. Mary Tupper, at Yakima. She is survived by one sister, one brother, residing in Iowa, 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and two great great grand-children.
She was an active member of the Methodist church most of her life.
Mrs. Miller had been strong and well until about 18 months ago, when she suffered a stroke and had been bedfast most of the time since.
Funeral services were held from the CHAPMAN chapel, Saturday, Aug. 3, at 2 p.m. Rev. C.E. Hanes officiating, with interment following in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
