Emmons
Mrs. Esther B. Emmons, 82, 1448 Troy St., died at Samaritan Hospital Friday morning after a long illness.
She was born in Canal Fulton Sep. 22, 1877. She was the daughter of Daniel and Lavina Buchtel Harmon. Mrs. Emmons had resided in Ashland 58 years.
She was married in 1901 to Clyde Emmons, who survives her. Other survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Miller of Ashland; two sons, Gerald and Harold, of Ashland; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alda Miller of Savannah.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one daughter.
Mrs. Emmons was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, at the Heyl-Robbins Funeral Home, with Dr. Robert S. Kinsey officiating.
Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Heyl-Robbins Funeral Home 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
