Funeral To Be Held Today For J.A. Loughmiller.
Funeral services for J.A. Loughmiller, pioneer resident of Oklahoma City, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Street & Draper's chapel. Rev. S.J. Porter, pastor of the First Baptist church will conduct the services. Burial services will be conducted by members of Lodge No. 36, A.F. & A.M., at Fairlawn cemetery.
Mr. Loughmiller died at his home, 1117 E. 18th street, yesterday afternoon, after an illness of many months. He was 76 years old. Mr. Loughmiller was an '89er. He was one of the city's first business men, having built the first brick livery stable in the days of Oklahoma City's infancy. Of late years he has been in the automobile business, and was head of the Loughmiller Brothers firm.
He is survived by his widow and three sons, E.F. Loughmiller, Tom Loughmiller and Roy Loughmiller, all of Oklahoma City, and two daughters, Mrs. P.A. Sawyers of Noble, Cleveland county, and Mrs. Tom Wilson of Oklahoma City.
