Died at this residence under the loving care of his family and Hernand0-Pasco Hospice. A native of Florence, SC, he was born Aug. 21, 1933, to the late Harmon and Fannie Windham, Sr. and moved to Florida more than 50 years ago. He was a retired charter bus driver, having been employed by Trailways in Ft. Myers, Sunshine Bus Lines and Turf Way Bus Lines in West Palm Beach, and was one of the founders of Elan Tranpsortation Co. of Miami. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Chursh of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Miriam; 2 sons, Charles (Becky) Windham, Sumter, SC, James (Karen) Windham, Silver Springs, FL, his daughter, Gwen (Dan) Muscarella, Inverness; 5 brothers and sisters, Thomas, David, Jerry, Billy, Dexter, Pearl Welch, Patricia Fletcher, Betsy Tauzin, Mariam Baker and Kathy Sharpe; four grandchildren, Chad, Shannon, Karena, Misty; two great-grandchildren, Abagail and Jenna. Friends may call at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 5-7 whre funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 28 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Hills of Rest Cemetery, Floral City.
