Frank died at his rural home in Rossville. He was the son of Frank R. Jr. and Nellie (Shideler) Dannefer. He graduated from Rossville High School in 1934. He married Eunice L. McMahan on September 24, 1940, in Harrisville, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Jonathan Michael Dannefer. Survivors include his wife, his sons, Dale Dannefer and Daryl Dannefer, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Rossville Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery.
