Margaret Alice "Margie" Berg, 21 and Matthew Justin Berg 4 months, died Thursday September 17, 1997 near Keno from injuries they suffered in a traffic accident.

Mrs. Berg was born in California to Bill and Bev Seaman. Her early years were spent in Vista, Calif., with her parents. They moved to the Keno area in 1978, where Margie continued with her horses.

She participated in activities with the Gymkhana Horsemanship Organization, holding many California state records in barrel racing, pole bending and bow-tie work with her horses.

She graduated from Henley High School in 1984 and for a time worked at Active Office Supply, Klamath Falls. In 1985 she moved to Fresno, Calif., and attended beauty college, receiving a degree as an esthetician.

She met and married Matthew David Berg in Klamath Falls in 1986. The couple made their first home in Frenso, where their son Matthew was born May 6, 1987. The moved back to Klamath Falls this July to be near both their families.

Margie and Matthew are suvived by husband and father Matthew Berg of Keno, parents,grandparents Bill and Bev Seaman, of Klamath Falls, Richard and JoanAnne Berg of Keno, Oregon. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Uncles, aunts: Jamie Berg, Klamath Falls, Kevin & Susan Berg, Klamath Falls, Corey Berg, Keno, Michael & Johanna Berg, Klamath Falls, Richard Berg, Keno, Lee A.
