BACILIO ANCIRA
Services were held on Monday for Rev. Bacilio Ancira, 68, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Clovis. Rev. Glen Smith officiated.
He died Feb. 16, at Clovis Hospital. Burial followed in Texico Cemetery. Steed-Todd Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Rev. Ancira was born in Mendoza, Texas on April 15, 1921. He served in the U. S. Army. He married Bertha A. Reyes on Nov. 26, 1988 in Clovis.
He was a minister, and a member of the Oak Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, 6 sons, Moses, Bascilio, Jr. and Santiago, all of Clovis; Isaac, of Mount Calm, Texas; David of Farwell, and Jeramiah of Lufkin, Texas; 3 daughters, Suzy Moore, of Las Lunas, Gloria Escobedo, of Friona, and Rebecca Garcia, of Clovis; 3 brothers, Andy, of Temple, Texas; Floyd of Victorville, Calif.; and Frank, of Farwell; 6 sisters, Santiaga Flores, of Houston; Maria Hernandez, of Lubbock, Louisa Munoz of Odessa; Janie Galvan and Amelia Torres, both of Texico, and Victoria Yruegas, of Farwell, 30 grandchildren and 1 great-
grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Dolores Ancira, on March 17, 1988.
Casket bearers were his sons.
