Mr. Edward Silas Hilliard, a son of the late Capt. Cuyler Walter Hilliard & Theresa Hargraves of Dinsmore, Florida, passed away this Thursday morning at seven o'clock in this city on Church Street, where he has been residing for the past six months. Edward came here from Asheville, NC, several months ago lingering in the last stages of consumption ( Tuberculosis or a lung disease ) and his death was not unexpected. Edward Silas Hilliard was about 38 years of age and unmarried. He leaves a large number of relatives among them ; his brother Cicero and sister Annie, who have given him constant attention since he came back to Waycross. He is survived by his brothers and sisters : Isabelle H., Thomas B., Margaret E., Cicero A., Rhonda V., Cuyler W. Jr., Robert L., Lester C. and Annie H. The interment will be at Kettle Creek Cemetery at ten o'clock, Friday morning...
